Modular houses for Iceland

Completed projects · from 1600 €/m²
Iceland

From our factory to Iceland

Bouw Art modular houses are built in our factory in Iecava, Latvia, and Iceland is one of our main export markets.

We finish 60–95 % of the house in the factory, depending on the package. Our own assembly crew travels with the house to Iceland and assembles it on foundations prepared in advance.

Crane lifts are planned around the season and the wind, because lifting and placing a module in strong wind is far more difficult.

Process

How a house gets to Iceland

  • /01
    Choosing

You choose the model, the size and the package: Economy, Standard or Custom. We prepare an individual quotation for every project.

  • /02
    Production in Iecava

Floor, walls and roof are built at the same time, in a controlled environment. The internal services are installed in the factory too.

  • /03
    Transport

We deliver the finished house to your plot, including remote locations where building from scratch on site would not make sense.

  • /04
    Assembly

Our crew assembles the house on the prepared foundations. Joining the modules takes from a few hours to a few days.
